Welcome Dr. Ruud to the Port Authority Board of Directors
We are excited to announce that Dr. William N. Ruud the President of Marietta College was officially appointed to the board of directors of the Port Authority.
Dr. Ruud brings a wealth of experience serving on administrative boards as well as an extensive business acumen. As the Port seeks to define a future where it is financially stable, solvent, and self-sustaining, his leadership will be welcomed.
When he first got to Marietta College his energy and vision was apparent. We hope he can bring that same vision and energy to Port directives moving forward.
A local businessman told me recently that “I can’t believe we got someone of Bill’s caliber to come to Marietta.”
